Delta Waterfowl-Memphis Chapter recently held their annual banquet, sponsored by Dobbs Equity Partners, LLC.
Delta Waterfowl is The Duck Hunters Organization, a leading conservation group founded at the Delta Marsh in Manitoba, with its U.S. Headquarters in North Dakota. They strive to produce ducks through intensive management programs and conservation of breeding duck habitat. Delta conducts vital waterfowl research, and promotes and protects the continuing tradition of waterfowl hunting in North America.
Delta Waterfowl has a mission to produce ducks and secure the future of waterfowl hunting as well as a vision for abundant waterfowl and endless opportunities for hunters.
On this evening, the large banquet room of a Memphis hotel was filled with hunters excited about auction items and sharing stories of plans for the upcoming season. Guests perused the silent auction and raffle items making their mark on interesting finds. One such raffle item was a revamped ’91 Suzuki Samurai, ready to get you deep into the woods and marshlands.
As the evening lingered on and the stories grew larger, the live auction kicked off. Excitement built as the auction block took turn after turn with fabulous offerings such as: a Waldenburg Arkansas Guided Hunt, a Cajun Crawfish Boil, an Open Water Hunting Package, an Across the Board Restaurant Group Wild Game Dinner for 8, a North Carolina Swan/Duck Hunt, a Build Your Own Duck Club Combo, a Guided Quebec Sea Duck Hunt, a Rob Roberts Custom Benelli Super Black Eagle III 12 Gauge, a Kuche Safaris South African Hunt, an Argentina Dove Hunt and so much more!
One lucky winner will be visiting the distillery of Memphis’ own Blue Note Bourbon where they will choose their own barrel and design a custom label that will adorn all the bottles produced from that barrel.
